| Some history of the Framing Workshop |

The shop began at 842 Military Road in Mosman, Sydney, some 25 years ago. From talking to past customers, it seems that the first owner was happy to share his picture framing skills and conducted paid classes for those who were interested – hence the name of the business.
Ownership has changed probably 4 times since then and the present owner, Richard Ussher and his staff, have been at the shop since 1987.
To maintain the world class standard of picture framing that the Framing Workshop is known for, we have recently moved to a spectacular new workshop and Gallery (see picture) and only a kilometre and a half from the old front door.
The management and staff are looking forward to many more years of service to our valued customers.
For those "first timers" to framing, you can rest assured that the caring staff will ease you into the experience gently! You are sure to enjoy many years of pleasure with your finished and professionally presented framed artwork.
